SOUND SYSTEMS DESIGN
The Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (RSA) is a historic society and an enlightenment organisation committed to finding innovative and practical solutions to today's social challenges. Through its ideas, research and 27,000-strong world-wide Fellowship it seeks to understand and enhance human capability so we can close the gap between today's reality and peoples hopes for a better world.
The RSA undertook a major redevelopment of their Grade 1 listed building on the Strand in central London in 2012. Vanguardia provided full design for audio-visual and interactive systems. This has included bespoke and innovative solutions to audio, video and touch interface design. The installed systems provide a wide degree of flexibility allowing the facilities to be used in numerous configurations for many different types of events.
The Great Room, Benjamin Franklin Room and other areas also include innovative architecturally integrated acoustic treatment solutions. Vanguardia has also provided UX design and content management that utilised existing content. This integrates with the ongoing management of events and communications across the globe from this historic centre of the RSA's activities.
The system provides flexible use of the main space in the Great Room allowing for all lectures and presentations to be streamed live to the RSA's fellows worldwide.
